Overview

Hoops DJ is operated by Sienna Logic LLC. This policy covers the Hoops DJ app and this website.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, and sign-in details; subscription and purchase information; team and roster information, including team names and colors, player names, jersey numbers, positions, and how a name is pronounced, coach names and roles, and lineups; announcement text and voice choices; messages you send us; and device, diagnostic, and crash information.

You provide most of this information directly. Device, diagnostic, and crash information is collected automatically by the app.

Music files you import stay on your device. They are not uploaded to us.

This website has no analytics, advertising tags, or cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure your account, sync your teams and lineups across your devices, run app features such as announcements, process subscriptions, send transactional emails such as sign-in codes, respond to support requests, and fix problems. We may also send product updates and promotional emails. You can opt out of those at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us run Hoops DJ, including providers for hosting and storage, authentication, subscriptions and billing, email delivery, and error reporting. Spoken announcements are generated by a third-party AI voice provider, and the announcement text, which includes player and coach names, is sent to it to create the audio. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the service, and they are required to protect it consistent with this policy.

We do not sell your information. Hoops DJ does not show ads and does not use advertising identifiers.

We may also disclose information when needed to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect the service or its users, or investigate abuse or fraud. If we sell or transfer our business, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Children

Hoops DJ is for adults. Player information is entered by the adult account holder, who is responsible for having permission to provide it. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Data retention and deletion

We keep information while your account is open and as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete your account data, although some information may remain in backups, logs, or storage for a period of time, or where we are required to keep it by law.

Your choices

You can delete your account in the app: open Account, then choose Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and the teams, players, coaches, and lineups saved to it. If you cannot get into the app, email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

Deleting your account does not cancel a Season Pass subscription. Cancel that in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

You can also contact us to access or correct your information.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the date above.
